Low-fat Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients (1serving, 200kcal)
Spaghetti 120g
Ground beef 50g
Onion (chopped) 1/2pc
Tomato puree 3/4can
Canned soy beans 3tbsps
Olive oil 1tbsp
Mixed herbs 1tsp
Water 1/4cup
Seasonings
Sugar 1tsp
Salt 1/4tsp
Black pepper 1pinch
Methods:
- Boil the water and cook the spaghetti to al dente.
- Drain the spaghetti. Mix with 1/2tbsp of oil and herbs and set aside on a plate.
- Heat the wok with another 1/2tbsp of oil, saute onion and ground beef, then add the tomato puree and water, season and cook until rich.
- Pour the tomato sauce onto the spaghetti.
Nutrition Tips
Ground beef is high in fat and thereby substituting partial ground beef with soy beans can help reduce fat intake significantly and prolong satiety.
